About the Item

An elegant French Neoclassical revival gilt-metal two-tier side table featuring a circular glass top with molded rim above a secondary black marble shelf. The design is supported on three scrolling legs joined by a stretcher and terminating in paw feet. A refined neoclassical form with graceful proportions and decorative detailing, ideal as an accent or occasional table. A fine example of a French Directoire Gueridon The tripod base has three wonderful claw feet with casters, and a very detailed acorn in the lower center. The casters are in working order. Very good vintage condition, consistent with age and use.
