About the Item
A fine 19th century French Restauration style tilt-top marquetry guéridon, or center table. Beautiful bookmatched veneer of rosewood with floral marquetry inlay. Finish retains a nice luster. Cast brass latch on the underside. Shaped pedestal base has tripod legs with brass castors. Restoration on top of center dowel. Missing a small piece of trim on the base. Circa 1880-1900.
