About the Item
Original 19th century Biedermeier sewing table, mahogany veneer. This unique exquisite table comes from Northern Germany.
The locking, hinged lid raises to reveal nine compartments, the lid of the central compartment is beautifully decorated with beautiful flower marquetry. Underneath is a burgundy velvet compartment for wool.
The table comes refinished with the expected wear and tear. The burgundy velvet shows traces of age.
