Biedermeier sewing table, 1820.
This exquisite original sewing table is a wonderful example for typical Biedermeier period furniture piece, which should not be missing in any Biedermeier lover's collection. The mirrored cherry wood veneer on the top is framed by a walnut veneer border. It has two drawers, the upper one with small compartments for sewing utensils and a flip up pin cushion.
The two beautifully shaped end panels are connected by a lathed stretcher.
The table comes refinished and French polished.
It ships from Germany and includes shipping to Boston.
