Another Old Plank French Industrial Inspired Kitchen Island creation hand-fabricated from Steel with Solid Bronze Fittings here in Chicago. Because we fabricate each Kitchen Island individually, you can spec your own dimensions, materials and finished to be used. Optionally, you can have our Old Plank very popular steel casters or lions paw feet. The Old Plank Industrial Style Kitchen Island is also available in Dining Table height or even Coffee Table height.
We have been hand-fabricating Kitchen Islands for over 30-years and have a nice collection of antique items that have been adapted to American Kitchen Island heights and all are available through 1stdibs.

This table continues my exploration of the power of wooden line-like elements and industrial metal bracketry. It introduces the concept of a 45 degree line contrasting against its six vertical legs. The top is punctuated by three polished stainless bolts- one over each leg structure. The brackets are machined out of 1/8" thick aluminum and attach with stainless steel hardware. It’s a bold and powerful table.
