About the Item

A solid pine butcher's block table with forged iron banding, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The thick top shows a beautifully worn surface and patina from years of use. Supported by straight legs with riveted iron straps for reinforcement, this piece exemplifies utilitarian craftsmanship of the period. Origin: Northern Europe or United States, circa 1890-1910 Material: Pine and iron
