Handcrafted in Portugal from solid beechwood, this block features a thick hornbeam end-grain chopping surface, prized for its resistance to wear and its ability to protect knife edges. The base is hand-finished in one of De Kercoet’s 13 exclusive colors or wood tones.
Its front drawer is adorned with a distinctive solid metal handle, featuring a diamond-cut, cross-knurl pattern, evoking the precision of fine watchmaking and the tactility of luxury hardware. Two removable solid wood wine racks complete the silhouette, offering practical storage with a touch of epicurean refinement.
Optional additions — such as wheels — allow for enhanced mobility and convenience without compromising the piece’s sculptural presence.
