ABOUT
A fully adjustable industrial drafting table with solid wood top and cast iron hardware and knobs. Original maker's tag. The table can be used as a tall dining table, desk or drafting table. The top swivels at any angle and from either side. The whole table can be lowered or raised to the height you chose.

CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Very stable.

HISTORY
Adolph Lietz was born in Leubeck, Germany in 1860. He immigrated to San Francisco in 1879 and worked in several scientific instrument shops before opening his own business. The firm incorporated in 1892 under the name "The A. Lietz Company. In 1910 a complete line of drafting materials and engineering equipment was added.
