Federal-period mahogany dressing table / lowboy of elegant proportions. This exceptional piece from the late 1700s features a beautifully figured crotch-mahogany drawer front arranged in a classic one-over-two configuration. The table stands on four delicate, square-tapered legs characteristic of the Hepplewhite influence. The table features beautiful graining, tapered legs, and original hand-cut dovetail drawers. This piece would function beautifully as a hallway console, petite desk or a bedroom vanity.
