Mid-century modern oak Hans Wegner Club table Produced by Andreas Tuck in the 1960's. Tuck produced design pieces which epitomize the ultimate in classic Danish craftsmanship. They are simple, functional and modest. This marked beauty made out of solid oak is in fantastic condition. Particularly active in the 1950s and ‘60s, Andreas Tuck’s most notable designer was Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007), a cabinet maker and designer synonymous with mid-century modern design, who designed tables for Andreas Tuck that exuded elegance and Nordic functionality. There is no viable information available to ascertain when the company was founded. However, in 1950 the company, which was located in Odense, Denmark, hired Hans J. Wegner as their chief architect and furniture designer.
