About the Item

We are proud to offer an unusual example of a hand carved late 19th Century carved pedestal. This is a highly decorative and unusual example because of its hand carved studded detail which resembles brass studs. With natural aging and wear, this item would comfortably sit in the corner of a hallway entrance or country house style room displaying either a statue or lampshade. Size in inches approx.: H 38” x W 10” x D 10” Period: Late 19th century Material: Pine Origin: France Condition: Aged Completely solid in structure and form, aged naturally across the surface showing loss of detail to the base/ loss of studded effect. Wear and scratched to the top section with aged surface. A naturally aged object which has stood the test of time, so please expect age related wear as the photos aim to show however it is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece. Therefore, we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections / condition is unclear to avoid disappointment when purchasing.
