Vintage Chinese square rosewood pedestal stand with inset marble top and carved open work.
A wonderful stand in richly toned, beautifully preserved rosewood with bold geometric carvings and a unique "stacked" effect design. The body features an alternating size pattern lending visual interest and dimension to the piece. The square top is a perfect size for plants, sculptures or ceramics and the inlaid gray/white marble has great veining. Ball finials add a nice touch to its highly detailed, angular form. It is in very good, sturdy condition with age-appropriate, light scuffs/scratches to the marble. A gorgeous pedestal that will complement a vast array of interior styles and bring beauty to any room.
