Sculpted from solid wood then given a gilt finish that provides stunning opulence, this Antique Italian Baroque Pedestal will be the ideal way to display your cherished sculpture, vase or objet d'art! Bold acanthus fronds beckon from the base, and appear again under the plateau, with a Corinthian grace that is truly timeless. Even the faceted shaft features scrollwork motif. The gold finish has achieved a lovely patina over the past few decades. Circa mid-1900s Measures 44 height x 12 in diameter.
