Beautiful Ebonized Art Nouveau Column pedestal from Austria around 1900. Hand carved out of solid beech wood, this lovely straight shaped pedestal comes with a fantastic ebonized, black shellac polished surface. Standing solid on a simple but great looking base, this timeless designed column impresses with a minimal carved straight pillar and a rectangular top plate (8.9" x 9") building the perfect spot for displaying a valuable bust, vase, sculpture or a cachepot.
