About the Item

A decorative French oak 19th Century pedestal table with a wonderful aged patina. Originally a table base this, the pedestal has a central turned column with beautifully sculpted splayed legs tapering to a flat foot, giving it an elegant Parisian chic feel. A perfect base for displaying a sculpture or plant. Made from solid oak, the piece has a characterful look with a wonderful dry washed oak natural patina, the base is in good solid condition, it shows some age related marks and some small losses but the piece is very sturdy, structurally sound and is suitable for displaying bust, vase or plant. Table Top measures: 10.5" x 10.5" / 26.5cm x 26.5cm Base footprint measures: 24" x 20.5" / 61cm x 52cm
