Crafted by master stone masons in Colorado from reclaimed stone Cream Limestone, Honed finish 1 piece All stones are hand-selected by MENO No sealers or chemical coatings 13”W x 13”D x 24”H About MENO HOME Waste Reduction The Petra collection is crafted from only remnant stone from local stone yards. We are on a mission to reduce material waste by utilizing durable marble and granite pieces that would otherwise sit unused in a stone yard, until broken up and thrown away. Climate-Friendly Materials Natural stones are a durable, non-toxic material. Unlike new composite materials, natural stone does not contain silica which contributes to dust that be a respiratory irritant. Lower-Carbon Logistics The stones currently being selected for the Petra collection are chosen and fabricated directly next door to MENO HOME STUDIOS in Denver, CO. The stone pieces, once finished are walked to the studio to be photographed and cataloged. Our desire is to sell these pieces as close to the point of manufacture as possible, however when we do ship these goods, we first look for carrier return loads. This means we contract with a shipper who is already passing through Denver, heading towards the customer. This allows shipping costs to be much lower and avoids fuel being expended for single loads.
