Spanish neoclassical carved wood column dedestal stand with secret compartment and paw Feet, Spain, 1930-1940.
This square tapered pedestal stand is beautifully adorned by hand-carved foliage acanthus leaves, scroll work, fleur de Lys details and geometric patterns. It rests on lions paw feet.
The square top is removable and the interior of the pedestal has a hidden secret storage compartment that can be removed from the stand.
This stunning spanish revival neoclassical pedestal will be a nice addition to any classical, contemporary or any decoration with spanish taste. Interesting to exhibit an sculpture or to hold a table lamp.
