About the Item
Incorporate extra, functional surface space into your living room or den with this elegant antique side table. Crafted in the Perigord region of France circa 1780, and built of walnut and beech wood, the side table stands on turned legs ending with bun feet, embellished with an intricate bottom stretcher decorated with a central finial. The Louis XIII end table features a large single drawer across the front dressed a wooden pull knob. The top embellished with rounded edges around the perimeter, has a nice writing surface. The occasional writing desk is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. Intricate and versatile, this sturdy table could also be used as a nightstand or a bedside table.
