About the Item

A 1960s tile table designed by Jane and Gordon Martz for Marshall Studios in Veedersburg Indiana. This table in walnut and dark gray glazed tiles. A nice size and elegant form with a slightly tapered stem supported by a weighted base. The top featuring angled tiles in a circular pattern reminiscent of an old stone garden or pathway. The colors pair this table well with the Eames lounge chair. This American modern masterwork would compliment pieces made by Gio Ponti, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, Robsjohn Gibbings, Harvey Probber and others. Quintessential mid century modern. Unmarked. Dimensions: 18 7/8” diameter x 19 5/8” height Condition: Two tiles showing hairline fractures. You have to look for them to see them. Otherwise excellent condition.
