About the Item
Sorrento round side table hand-made in Italy in the early 1800s using walnut. The table follows the canons of the style with intricate geometrical radially symmetrical inlay on the top and inlaid patterns on the tripod legs. The table is made with walnut and the inlay alternates walnut, satinwood and poplar, creating a beautiful multicolored and multigrain pattern.
This is a beautiful table that will look great in a small entryway as a center table, or as a side table next to a beautiful reading chair or couch. Although very ornate it is most definitely not over the top and still elegant. Its lines and proportions make it a perfect piece that is both beautiful as well as practical.
