About the Item

19th century inlaid burr birch oval occasional table circa 1870. Good quality swedish burr birch center table that could be used for multiple purposes around the home.  Oval shape with inlaid diamond shape to the center, surrounded by burr birch and a gadrooned edge.  Single drawer to the front which is concealed around the moulded freize. Raised on a turned stem and 3 scrolling legs. Minor restoration to woodwork to top surface, recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use. Rich colour and patina.
