A very rare example, companies have been copying this design for decades, this is an original, I have only ever seen one other in my working career. The piece comes complete with the original finish inside and out, the top Italian Marble as mentioned, you have Walnut
Mahogany timbers and gold gilt brass elsewhere, this is a super piece
Condition wise it looks and feels every bit of its age, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there with be distressing to the leather book bindings and some marks on the marble top, all of which adds to the antique look and feel
