This is an antique pedestal table. An English, painted oak side or lamp table, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1750.
Charming Georgian example, with broad top and fascinating patination
Presented in an attractive distressed manner, with superb character
Select oak stocks, showing fine grain interest and caramel hues
Aged paint in Old English white, time worn throughout decades of use
Generously sized top for the overall proportion at 49.5cm diameter
Tapering support column with collared mount to the tripod base
Three broad cabriole legs, terminating in pad feet
