Art Deco Bamboo Side Table / End Table - Parquetry Inlaid Tabletop - France Circa 1930
Nice woodwork on the tabletop with parquetry inlays.
The table is made entirely of bamboo :
- Legs are formed from straight bamboo canes
- Decorative curved rings are also bamboo canes (thiner)
- Tabletop features a diamond-pattern bamboo marquetry
Perfect as an end table near the sofa, or a side table in the bedroom.
Ideal to place books, a lamp or a sculpture.
Please note that the table is nearly 100 years old and therefore shows some signs of age, consistent with its history — while remaining in excellent overall aesthetic condition.
