About the Item

Elegant modernist side table designed by Branco Preto, São Paulo, circa 1960. The piece features a lacquered wood structure with a glass top, showcasing the refined simplicity and balanced proportions that define mid-century Brazilian design. This rare example preserves its original Branco Preto label, confirming its authenticity and origin. Branco Preto was founded in 1952 by a group of visionary architects — including Miguel Forte, Jacob Ruchti, and Roberto Aflalo — who introduced a new modernist aesthetic to Brazilian interiors. The brand became a symbol of sophistication, known for its clean lines, functional forms, and impeccable craftsmanship. All our pieces are original vintage works, never reproductions, and are carefully selected for their historical and aesthetic value.
