About the Item
A Brazilian peroba wood table from the 19th century. This antique table from Brazil has a square-shaped top, overhanging the apron below which is plain with a straight skirt. It is raised upon four squared and gently tapered legs. The table is made from peroba wood (a tropical native hardwood, 35% harder than oak), and has a wonderful old patina, and divots at its topside; a reflection of character from it's prior use and age. This 19th century Brazilian peroba wood table, with its rustic charm and square shape, would be a wonderful breakfast or games table (great for a cabin!).
