Exquisite vintage distressed Chinoiserie pair of black lacquered end or side tables with straight legs, Ming feet, and hand painted Asian details. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, they have an all-over aged patina including some chips, dings, and scratches that we purposely left alone as we feel it only enhances their vintage beauty. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th to Early 21st Century.
Yes, as a matter of fact, you ARE seeing DOUBLE!!! Which makes this deal TWICE as NICE!!! This is an identical pair of vintage Chinoiserie style end or side tables comprised of rectangular black lacquered frames embellished with intricately hand painted Asian flowers, leaves, birds, branches, and gold painted trim details. The detail and color in the paintings are phenomenal, and they have a lovely all-over “perfectly imperfect” patina on the frames. They have straight legs with fabulous Ming style feet and a recess between the base and tabletop giving them a unique, eye-catching appearance. They will be exquisite in a Chinoiserie, Oriental, Asian, Hollywood Regency, or Mid-Century Modern setting but they are attractive enough to stand on their own in any room. They would be beautiful with one on each side of a chair, sofa, or the bed or split them up and use in separate spaces. They are sure to make an elegant statement whatever location you choose.
