About the Item

A Brazilian peroba wood side table from the early 19th century. This antique rectangular-shaped table from Brazil features a slightly overhung top above a single drawer, four squared legs with a lower bottom shelf at their centers. The table is peroba wood (a tropical native hardwood, 35% harder than oak), and has a beautifully rustic patina, showing character from it's prior use and age. This antique Brazilian peroba wood table, from the 19th century, would work great as a small console or side table.
