Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning antique side table with a brass engraved plaque and hand written note detailing its Nelson's provenience as being made from the reclaimed timber of HMS Foudroyant Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. A very good looking and decorative table, this would be used as a lamp wine or side table normally but given the history I'm sure it will end up in an important private collection or a museum The plaque to the front reads as follows Made from the oak taken from HMS Foudroyant Nelsons Flagship as Vice-Admiral of the Blue Mediterranean Squadron June 1799-1801 Foundered off Blackpool Sands 1897 The hand written note to the base reads roughly as follows Carved by Hand, ....... (I can't read the first work) from the old Nelson Flagship Foundered at Blackpool Dimensions Height:- 44cm Width:- 28cm Depth:- 28cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
