A French Louis XVI style mahogany side table from the 19th century with a white marble top surrounded by a pierced brass gallery resting on fluted legs. This timeless table design is a classic example of form
function, made for the popular French card game (bouillotte) but so practical as a bedside table, end, or side table in nearly any room around the home. There are two small drawers tucked in the apron, plus two small (mahogany) leaves on the adjacent sides. Fluted legs, a signature Louis XVI element, taper to the floor ending in small sabot feet. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax, this antique occasional table is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images.
