A French Louis XVI style mahogany side table from the mid-20th century with a white marble top surrounded by a pierced brass gallery and elevated by fluted legs. This timeless table design is a classic example of form
function, made for the popular French card game, bouillotte, but elegant and practical as a bedside, end, or side table in nearly any room around the home. There are two small drawers tucked in the apron, with two small leaves wrapped in olive-green leather that emerge to hold perhaps a drink or hand of playing cards. Fluted legs, a signature Louis XVI design, taper to the floor ending in brass sabot feet. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax, this vintage occasional table is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images.
