About the Item

This fascinating small side table originally served as a tobacco or smoking table. Note in photos the larger boxes for pipes/cigars, smaller storage boxes for tobacco/matches, also an ash tray and candle stick. It is the hand-carved elements that raise this table to a special folk-art find. Note the carved pipes, carved details around the entire table top, and the stylized carved faux wood of the tri-foot pedestal base. Total height at candlestick is 36.5" tall, to table top is 31" tall. Restored, this unique side table is stable, ready for use and has a wax finish. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this accent table which is truly a special find. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed.
