A handsome Italian table or Fratino table of walnut, in the Baroque style, featuring a rectangular plank top over turned wood supports. The Fratino table is a type of refectory or console table with a distinctive trestle base, with a design inspired by the Baroque style in Italy and Spain. The base features two ornate, carved "lyre-shaped" or "wavy" legs connected by a carved cross stretcher. Functions as a great side table or coffee table as well.
