About the Item

Elegant Art Nouveau side table set consisting of four individual tables of different sizes that can be nested inside each other, first appearing in the Kohn catalogue of 1906. The attribution became known after the publication of the 986 tables in 'Das Interieur' in 1908, in which Josef Hoffmann was named as the designer. They echo the horseshoe structure already used for the Fledermaus models. High-quality handcrafted furniture with decorative bentwood elements that combine formal beauty and function. Beech bentwood and bent beech plywood, stained mahogany, hand-polished with shellac.
