About the Item
Japanese Vintage Round Plant Stand, Mid-Showa Period (c. 1950s–1960s)
This Japanese vintage display stand dates to the Mid-Showa period. The round top is Japanese chestnut (kuri) with calm grain and a soft, hand-rubbed sheen. Slender, tapered uprights and splayed legs form an airy, sculptural silhouette; the negative space reads light while the stance remains stable.
Use it as a plant stand, a vase pedestal for flowers, or a plinth for small sculpture—an easy accent in an entry, living, or dining room. The compact footprint makes it simple to place and style without visual weight.
Cleaned and disinfected with a non-toxic solution.
As a vintage piece, minor scratches and marks may be present, each adding to its unique charm and the story it tells over time. It has been carefully inspected and remains in excellent vintage condition, with natural signs of age that enhance its character.
Top diameter: 11.9" (30.3 cm)
Weight :5.95lbs(2.7kg)
