About the Item

This Japanese vintage square plant stand was crafted in the Early Showa Period (1926–). The square top is sen (castor aralia), while the legs are Japanese cedar (sugi)—a quiet pairing that reads warm and natural. Slender uprights and the open frame give a simple, airy silhouette; the stance is stable without visual weight. Use it as a plant stand, a vase pedestal for flowers, or a plinth for small sculpture or objects—an easy accent in an entry, living, or dining room. The compact footprint makes it straightforward to place and style. Cleaned and disinfected with a non-toxic solution. As a vintage piece, minor scratches and marks may be present, each adding to its unique charm and the story it tells over time. It has been carefully inspected and remains in excellent vintage condition, with natural signs of age that enhance its character. Weight :7.94lbs(3.6kg) Shipping Information We ship from Japan.
