About the Item
What started with an exploration using turned wooden rods and the right amount of curiosity–playing around with the possibilities of the cylindrical shapes and the use of positive/negative shapes–became the expressive essence of our Loto collection. Twin side tables with Tlaquepaque fused glass tops create a transparent surface while still providing a unique see-through effect. A footstool, upholstered in a handcrafted lambs-wool piece, waist-loom woven in San Juan Chamula, Altos de Chiapas–a sliver of the wooden base peeking through for contrast between the different materials.
