About the Item

Late 19th C. Louis XVI style gilt bronze ornamented side table with fluted turned legs and a single drawer. There are small (10" w x 8.75"d) side extensions to the left and right of the the tabletop. The ornamentation is finely detailed and is arranged symmetrically as a frieze around the sides of the table and the upper and lower portions of the fluted legs. The frieze is composed of swirls, flowers and foliage. Two small drawer pulls have been beautifully integrated into the floral ornamentation. The mahogany top has a lovely satinwood border with quatrefoil corners and a square ebony band. Dimensions: 32"w x 32"d x 28.25"h Frieze 2.5"h Drawer 19.5"d x 26"w x 3.75"h Condition: Good. The piece is in good condition overall. The bronze ornamentation is intact. There are small areas of veneer loss to the sides of the table top. Please see photographs. Overall, shows well and is ready to place.
