MORA Auxiliary Table by Daniel Couttolenc harmonizes grid precision with organic contrast. Revealed at Design Week Mexico 2025, it combines Tzalam, Oak, Maple, and Walnut into a natural mosaic that celebrates material diversity. Rooted in sacred geometry, its rhythmic composition translates mathematical order into sensory elegance—a meditation on unity through texture and tone.
This piece is customisable upon request.
MORA marks a new chapter in Daniel Couttolenc’s ongoing exploration of harmony, form, and vibration. Presented for the first time during INÉDITO at Design Week Mexico 2025, the collection reflects the designer’s commitment to creating pieces that transcend functionality, becoming instruments of contemplation and balance.
Emerging from the intersection of rational structure and organic expression, MORA is a family of tables born from the exploration of distinct wood species within an orthogonal grid design. The composition—clear, familiar, and precise—stands in elegant contrast to the natural complexity of the materials. Each wood reveals its unique essence through texture, tone, and grain, culminating in a visual symphony that evokes vitality, warmth, and connection. Through this delicate interplay, MORA embodies the coexistence of order and spontaneity, of the measured and the soulful. It is an ode to the intrinsic beauty of nature and its resonance.
Daniel’s practice is meticulous and detail-driven. He approaches each design with reverence for proportion, symmetry, and energy. Rather than conceiving geometry as ornamentation, he treats it as a generative system - one that brings structural clarity and spiritual resonance to each piece. His works are conceived not just as functional objects, but as living expressions of harmony, creating subtle vibrations that invite reflection and connection.
Through this synthesis of precision and intuition, Daniel is shaping a new narrative for design: one where the measurable and the mystical are no longer opposites, but inseparable voices within the same harmony.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The gallery is the brainchild of two brothers who share a lifetime passion for art, literature and philosophy. Their distinct academic background sets them apart from their peers, as it sees them following a rhizomatic and transcultural approach in the way they select works. This involves combining elements from multiple cultures in what becomes a network of harmoniously interconnected roots, ultimately revealing the beauty of each unique creation. The gallery’s non-hierarchical curation sits apart from the ephemerality of trends and focuses instead on the true aesthetic quality of the piece – alluring and timeless. Unlike others, Galerie Philia does not focus on a single style – whether minimalist, organic or raw – but rather embraces heterogeneity. The Galerie Philia takes pride in discovering new talents, providing them with multiple international platforms to showcase their latest creations. As well as propelling the newest generation of 21st century collectible design, Galerie Philia also works with internationally known design artists. Galerie Philia has a strong international presence, with galleries in Geneva, New York and Singapore. In addition to their permanent spaces, the gallery organizes temporary group exhibitions and artists residencies in first-class locations around the world.

Stoolen Side Table in Walnut 16"
By Bill Hilgendorf, Uhuru Design
Located in Denver, PA
A beloved Uhuru piece, the Stoolen is crafted from recycled walnut offcuts that are carefully hand-fitted into a unique pattern. The Stoolen works well as an end table, stool, or coffee table. Originating from the necessity for materials, our exploration began with readily available resources. The Stoolen's story began by repurposing discarded wood offcuts, turning remnants into a timeless design that has remained an integral part of our collection from our beginnings.
The Stoolen is featured in the cafe lobby of the New Museum...
