About the Item
Stunning pair of French-style mid-century modern side tables attributed to Maison Ramsay. The tables are unmarked but display Ramsay's signature silhouette features, including turned-in feet and a suspended top. Made of gilt wrought iron with a polished granite top that has a light speckled pattern. The tables are sturdy and heavy.
Although unsigned, each tabletop's underside bears a distinctive 'X' carving. These tables showcase notable Neoclassical silhouettes, a common design in France by many designers such as Roger Thibier, Maison Janson, Maison Ramsay, and Maison Jansen, featuring similar motifs.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. There s a small gap between the stone top and frame. See pictures. When moving the tables, you might hear some loose iron particles trapped in the base structure. The Gilt Iron finish displays a beautiful aged patina throughout.
