About the Item
Bedside tables hand-made in the Netherlands in the early 1900s using oak and pegged construction. The tables are small in size and, therefore, perfect for a wall where one does not have much space next to the bed, or sofa. The tables feature a single, drawer on the front inset in a flat apron with fluting on the corners. The legs are hand-turned and connects with a box stretcher. Below the apron on the front the tables are decorated with a hand-carved bracket. The tables sit on small bun feet. The top is made of inset boards framed by flat molding.
Overall the two tables are very ornate, yet understated, and will be a nice addition in a space that needs accent pieces that are both pretty as well as functional.
