About the Item
Whimsical pair of midcentury wrought iron drinks pedestal tables made in the manner and style of Arturo Pani (Mexican 1915-1981). The tables are crafted from solid square iron with a round top inset with colorful Italian Rosso Asiago marble measuring 1 inch thick. The marble is supported by four gracefully curved legs that conjoin in the middle and end with neoclassical Greek key motif feet. The iron has a gilt finish that accents the fiery red-orange Italian marble beautifully and provides a strong anchor of color to the space. The iron has a desirable aged patina to the gilt finish as seen in photos. Sold as a pair. The tables are very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
