About the Item
handsome and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Burl Walnut, Mahogany, Ormolu and Breccia marble side tables. This most elegant pair of Guéridon tables are modeled after the original by master Ébéniste, Adam Weisweiler. The pair are raised by three scrolled solid Mahogany supports with Ormolu sabots, below a triangular Burl Walnut stretcher with concave sides and Ormolu bull nose trim. Above are three pairs of Ormolu bamboo supports leading to the top mottled Mahogany frieze. Above are the stunning Breccia marble tops surrounded by elegantly mottled Ormolu edge guards.
