A Very Good Quality And Extremely Attractive Pair Of Late 19th Century Oriental Hardwood Pot Stands, Or Lamp Tables, Having Attractive Rouge Marble Inset Tops, Over Lovely Foliate Carved And Pierced Friezes, With Two Further Panelled Tiers To Turned Legs, Terminating On Carved Claw And Ball Feet. It is pretty common to find tables of this design in varying shapes and sizes, produced sometime around the mid 19th century in China, specifically for shipping to the western markets, but it is very rare to find pairs as nice as these particular ones, especially of this tall variety.
