About the Item
A stunning pair of fine quality French Louis XV style doré bronze mounted kingwood side tables in the manner of famous Parisian ébéniste Francois Linke (1855-1946) and bronze sculptor Léon Messagé (1842-1901).
Exquisitely hand-crafted in the 20th century, exceptionally executed in opulent King Louis 15th taste, having a circular white Carrera marble framed by a brass banded rim, featuring an elegant silhouette with gently scalloped apron, rising on slender cabriole legs joined by stylized X-form cross-stretcher topped with a sculptural gilt bronze finial, mounted in richly chased and chiseled gilt bronze mounts, terminating in gilded sabots.

Overall: 30" High, 24" Wide, 24" Deep (knee to knee). 21" Diameter round top.
Great original vintage condition. Presents splendidly, with beautifully aged warm rich patina. Strong, sturdy, stable. May have minor age appropriate wear. Overall superb examples.
Delivered cleaned, waxed, with hand rubbed polished French patina finish, ready for immediate use and generational enjoyment!
