An elegant and high quality pair of Italian late 19th century Neo-Classical st. Ormolu and Pietra Dura marble side tables. This wonderful pair of gueridon table is raised on six elongated Ormolu toupie feet below a reeded stretcher with scrolled movements joined to each leg. Each leg displays a stunning bamboo design with mottled and etched bands leading up to the Pietra Dura tops. The intricately detailed Pietra Dura marble tops showcase central foliate designs set within a black Belgian marble background and framed with an Ormolu edge guard showcasing deeply etched scrolled and wave designs.
