About the Item
We are pleased to offer for sale a stunning pair of twin side tables, handcrafted in Italy around the mid-20th century. The round tops of these vintage side tables measure 35 cm in diameter and are made of walnut veneer, featuring a small balustrade-style rim that gives them the appearance of miniature trays.
The true charm and uniqueness of these twin tables, however, lies in their pedestals. Carved like Tuscan columns from solid walnut, they are a delight to admire, with beautifully visible grain and a smooth texture under the hand. These side tables have been recently restored, undergoing a thorough cleaning and polishing with specialized wood products.
Perfect for placement beside a sofa or armchairs, they could also serve elegantly as plant stands or as minimalist bedside tables in a bedroom. The tables are in good vintage condition; professionally restored, they still show minor imperfections and natural signs of age.
