The "S.O. Side Table" with doors integrates three elemental materials, concrete, steel and wood. The counter-top and base is made from cast concrete. The piece is fully wrapped and fully finished (front and back) with Stefan Rurak Studio's unique "patinated steel" (flame treated with different oxides applied at different concentrations) that is employed as a veneer and sealed with oil and buffed wax. The cabinet interior is walnut veneer on fibrecore.
