About the Item

Beautifully figure solid teak and caned Danish end tables designed by Peter Hvidt for France Son. Circa 1960. Each table features softly rounded edges and a two tiered design with a suspended cane shelf. Both examples have the John Stuart enamel button on the underside. Beautiful Scandinavian design. Each table is in good overall condition with very minor cosmetic wear due to age and use. Both are structurally sound and sturdy. No visible punctures or damage to the caned shelves. Some minor isolated spots and marks. Each table measures approximately 27.5" deep x 25" wide x 22.5" high. The tops of each table measure approximately 25" at its widest point and tapers to approximately 19.5". The caned shelf has a gap of approximately 7" from the top board.
