Cast aluminum frame and red Marinace granite top
This pedestal table, named after Borek Sipek's second son, is number 17 of an edition of 50. It was purchased from Galerie Steltman in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1992 and comes with its original invoice.
This piece has a particularly thick top, making it especially spectacular.
Born in Praha in 1949 Borek Sipek who passed in 2016 is one of the most important designer from the 1980s, his pieces are part of most museums of the world. He had a major retrospective at Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam in 1991.
